The hall of the hotel, in liberty style, recalls the time when Queen Margherita lived here while her palace - today the American Embassy - just in front of the hotel was being renovated. This seven-story building was extensively renovated in 1994 into a fine hotel. Elegant features such as the sweeping marble staircase, marble columns,statues, and ornate ceiling were preserved so the hotel is still fit for royalty.
